The Escaldes-Engordany community and the sculptor Jordi D\u00edez have inaugurated the new work of the artist, &#8216;Nefer 2.0&#8217;, which represents the face of the Egyptian divinity made of steel and is based on a portrait of the author&#8217;s daughter. According to D\u00edez, the work proposes a &#8220;kind of enigma&#8221;, since one of the main characteristics of the sculpture is the absence of eyes that provides a &#8220;very special&#8221; look and represents the lack of eyeballs that were replaced by precious stones once the person died and were later stolen. &#8220;It offers a pseudo-look that has always seduced me because it seems like the gaze of eternity, that neither looks nor stops looking, and in which you can perceive a kind of vulture&#8221; explained D\u00edez.
