From now on, several areas of the parish have been filled with steel sculptures by Jordi D\u00edez<\/strong>. There are a total of nine works, all made of steel and placed on top of a large granite stone, native to the country and that acts as a link between the street and the piece of art. The exhibition is entitled ‘El tr\u00e0nsit. Cr\u00f2nica d’un cam\u00ed’ and has the human figure as the backbone of all the pieces<\/strong>, in what is meant to be a journey through three fundamental stages: separation, transition and incorporation.<\/p>\n\n According to\nexplained the councillor of Culture of the Escaldenc community, Salom\u00f3 Benchluch<\/strong>, they were looking for a figurative art in harmony with the lady\nof gel<\/strong>. Benlluch also pointed out that this is the first time that so many works by\n<\/strong> D\u00edez have been brought together in an exhibition<\/strong>, which has been particularly designed for\nEscaldes-Engordany.<\/p>\n\n Tot\nand that it was not the initial idea, the\ncommon is valuing to remain in ownership one of the works exhibited<\/strong>,\nif an economic agreement is reached with the artist’s team.<\/p>\n\n
