On the occasion of the death on March 23, 2015 of the former Prime Minister of Singapore: Mr Lee Kuan Yew, the television channel AEC Plus, which broadcasts in more than 10 Southeast Asian countries (Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines…), aired a report in honor of the political leader in which a special mention is made to the work done by Jordi Díez Fernández. Lee Kuan Yew is known as the Father of the Nation. The sculpture represents the moment when Lee Kuan Yew takes the reins of the country and walks decisively towards an uncertain future, yet to be written, which will finally lead to the creation of a great commercial power, the modern Singapore.
