The ground floor of the emblematic Loewe store on Madrid’s Gran Vía. (Gran Vía 8) has been transformed into a gallery in which different installations and interactive experiences designed for the delight of the audience. senses will discover the history, the tradition and the sensual charm of the considered the leading exponent of Spanish luxury.
Artist Jordi Díez has created a large steel sculpture of the Amazona bag -the company’s most emblematic model-, which presides over the entrance to the store. Inspired by the art collections on display in Madrid’s museums, this sculpture places the aesthetics of the Amazona bag in the context of its Spanish cultural heritage, while illustrating the handcrafted process of making one of Loewe’s signature bags.
